Greensprout is here
Seems it is time to jump ship. Thanks, Ontario for the format. Somewhat sad to leave 7 years of MDA journals behind. A lotta stuff happened there. Ah well, onwards and upwards. Given my current status, perhaps that is not a bad thing.

Good to see you here. I will probably still update my journal there from time to time. I also hate leaving it.

Ya! So glad you came over here. Will you start another journal?

Considering a new journal, undecided as of yet. If you’ve read my more recent sporadic entries, you know I’m in an uncomfortable transition period. Regardless, I’ll be around here. Honestly, I’m rather pissed off about the demise of the MDA forums, despite the deterioration of the last year and a bit. Mark has given in to the social media commercialism era. Not my thing. I’ll get over it. Happy to see a new venue for like minded folks. One day at a time for now.

Hope you crank up a new journal.
As for MDA Forum, I have a high "no confidence" factor in MS and his team. I'm with Sharperhawk that this was a business decision based on cost/benefit, but also feel that his "worker bees" were more like deaf "worker sloths" -- Very slow, not very competent. For the last 18 months or so, I was always PO'ed whenever I logged on MDA Forum and tried to use it. To a great degree, him going to FB resolves any issues I might have had in adapting this site, I've tried FB for several months, really disliked it and will never go back. Not to mention their set of user related policies and practices.
