How do you mistake a beaver for an alligator!!

Oh my. Those people need to go back to school and learn their animals, reptiles and critters.

That's funny. I would think having a 'gator in Canada would be a real rare event. It must have been one humongous beaver to be mistaken for a 5-6 foot gator. My best story about a gator was when we lived in S. Florida, I was playing golf, and was playing a fairway wood. I mishit the ball, sending a "worm burner" screaming down the fairway. It hit a log on the fairway near the green. Oops, the log got up and walked over to the nearby pond and submerged. I cautiously finished the hole, but those two gator eyes were at water level watching me.

Rig I laughed out loud on that one. I’m sure it wasn’t as funny as it sounds now.
