I was over at Mark's Daily Apple forum. I am so grateful someone posted the link to this forum. I have some questions I will post elsewhere. The introduction thread over there had some questions to answer, so I figured I would just use them here.

Your location: I am located in New Mexico

Age (If you want): a happy and not as healthy as I want to be 54

How Primal are you: Pretty Primal, at least as far as I understand the concept.

Do you consume dairy: Yes, but frugally. I find Greek yogurt a decent snack option. I use heavy cream and sour cream to bump up fat consumption.

Do you drink coffee or tea: Yes, I drink both regularly. I suppose I didn't realize they weren't considered strictly Primal but would be hard pressed to give them up.

Motivator for switching to Primal: a Healthier lifestyle in general, weight loss and more energy in particular. I really need to nail down the concept of healthier living, so I can enjoy life.

Favorite exercise: walking

Favorite Primal food: All of them. I like the concept of not being limited. I suppose if I had to be pinned down, it is a huge creative salad with a variety of veggies and avocados.

Best part about being Primal: Once you get used to eliminating processed foods and grain, the possibilities are endless and I like not having to literally track every calorie.

Worst part about being Primal: Continually saying, "No, thank you" to food offered at social occasions. It just gets tiresome when others are persistent.

Nothing non primal about coffee and tea... some don't consider it paleo though

Hi Shelley. I'm so glad you found the link over on MDA. We all still quite reveer Mark and MDA but felt we needed a forum as opposed to the FB page. So, welcome!
