A study for the men Empty A study for the men

I came across this because it popped up on FB. So, I went and had a look. It seems plausible. I will have to read more about it but I thought it was worth sharing.

Here is a link to the study:

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3879365/

What got me looking at it was how I followed a link to a link to get to it. While I was on the first link - the Wheat Belly Blog - I noticed part of Dr. Davis's words:

"Most of these effects were found to be mediated through increased oxytocin blood levels, mimicking the findings of studies in parabiosis, in which immunologically compatible mice had their circulatory systems combined, one old and one young: the older mouse reverse-aged and became young again, mediated largely via oxytocin."

And then this got me thinking about oxytocin and its relation to weight. I think I'll start Googling about the benefits of oxytocin.
