what to serve under pasta sauce?

I have picked more broccoli than I know what to do with, even after feeding half to the chickens.

I found a sauce recipe, garlic onion tomatoes etc that looks good and uses 500g of steamed broccoli.

However it is served on pasta and topped with cheese.

The cheese I am happy to go with (LOVE cheese), but what could I use as a base??

I use bolognese sauce to put on steamed broccoli or other veggies...

It would depend on your strictness/sensitivities... there are a number of alternative glutenfree pasta's available, aside from zoodles...

Spaghetti squash?

Cauliflower rice?

A bowl. Call it a soup/stew.

I second the spaghetti squash idea. It's great that way.

All great suggestions! I do even have shrimp in the fridge right now and NEVER would have thought of putting those together. This will be breakfast today, Thanks

ooohhhh....Celeriac. I love celeriac. I bet that WOULD be good under pasta sauce.

Oh well I had it with the shrimp but it wasn't great.

I also tried with on beetroot "chips" and topped with cheese, that really tasted good.

I wouldn't want to use cauliflower rice for this one, there is already plenty of broccoli.

Since I'm not a purist, I probably would have put it over white rice or quinoa. I like the  soup idea also. Ooh, just thought - what if you poached some eggs in it, then put the eggs in a bowl and spooned the sauce over them?

I usually just make a pile of vegetables to put pasta sauce on. Or a pile of meat But I also like Banza chickpea pasta. Probably not for a purist with chickpeas, tapioca, pea protein and xanthum gum, but they are pretty low carb.
