Still sleeping long and difficult to get up. Woke myself up yelling out in a rather disturbing dream after hubby left for work.

Had a medication review mtg with pharmacist and nurse case manager today, just looking at all the meds, potential interactions, and general discussion. Hubby came too. Pharmacist will liaise with psychiatrist about some of her concerns. Glad to have a team on my side.

Will start later this week at the OSI clinic with a movement and meditation group. Hoping that its a positive experience.

Did take a walk yesterday, otherwise mostly in a status quo, neither better nor worse, but with moments of each.

GS I think checking out interactions between meds is a really good idea. Could be they are working against one another or creating something totally different.

Praying things star looking up soon. So sorry about the dreams.

Having a pharmacist on board should be a major + in your team.

+1 - on the meds. Good that you have the pharmacist on board. I wish I would have spoken to one about 9 months ago - maybe I could have avoided a lot of feeling like doggie do! Hope you are sleeping better soon. Hugs!

You have moved from mostly bad days to 50-50, so that is a huge win in my book. I love the way your team is managing your health together. Here's to hoping you tip toward the 75% better days soon.

Dunno about quite 50-50, but progress on some fronts. Made it in for bloodwork this morning, and dropped in to chat with my contact at the transition support unit for an hour. Some emotional parts to that requiring several tissues. Then stopped in the office for the first time since I’ve been off as I had to sign those evaluations now that they are back from HQ. My colleague, the doc in the next office who knows the basics of what’s up with me popped by to ask how I’m doing...pretty much lost it again. He kindly backed off and wished me well. Had to pick up some paperwork I had left on my desk which will aid with my veterans disability claim in progress.

Day by day. Goal this week is to get back to a proper sleep schedule.

Today, unexpectedly was a better day. In bed by 11ish, up around 0930. Had a bit more energy than has been lately. Had to go into base to pick up med refills, stopped for an errand on the way home. Between before and after being out, I put away all laundry of mine that was clean but still in baskets, finally emptied last bits from luggage from last holiday in Feb (yikes!), read the next module for the OSI pain clinic group. Not sure where this came from, but seems to be a good thing. Start OSI clinic meditation and movement group tomorrow. Is it the meds? Something else? Psychiatrist did say increasing dosage of one of my meds could cause mania, will need to keep close eye on that.

Does not sound like mania, just getting back to normal. Very glad to hear this report.

Honestly, Pedi, I am wary of hypomania. Will keep an eye on things, and I see my Doc on Monday. Is an unusual feeling compared to the last many months.

True, but from before much less than you used to accomplish.

Again, true, but seems like a bit of a sudden turnaround. Is not a bad thing, just something to keep an eye on, and I’ve let hubby in on noting any specific observations that I outlined.

Are you eating properly and regularly? (Hope so). This is maybe a sign the med has reached the proper level? (Double hope so)

An eating properly and regularly, just less appetite than used to be. Smaller meals.

Today was another decent mood day, sort of flat but not down. Went to the OSI clinic meditation and movement group this afternoon, was mostly gentle yoga (for those with physical mobility issues, plus meditation.). Was rather nice.

No appts tomorrow, will see how the day goes.

My work colleagues sent home with hubby for me (he works in same building) a lovely gift basket from an upscale food and wine shop. Bottle of Merlot, aged red wine vinegar, rosemary olive oil, fabulous marinara sauce, imported pasta which son #2 can have. And some sweets. How nice!

Very nice! I'm sure your coworkers miss you.

I hope your better days continue and your health care team has truly found the right combo of meds to help you through this. Fingers crossed!

I hope so too. This is certainly the longest time I’ve been away from work ever in my adult career. Not sure where to from here, but is not in a dark place which is good. I think I may be on the path to wellness, but one day at a time, and will see where things end up.

Happy to hear how things are currently going and seem to be improving.
