Happy Birthday Officer Pedidoc!

I’m sorry the results were abnormal and you have to have a procedure. Praying it doesn’t come to much other than removal.

As to the hives, have you changed your laundry detergent or body wash? Or have either of them become new and improved? Thinking an allergic response to something.

Have an amazing day.

Thanks, NM. I cannot think of anything I have changed. I am pretty good about sticking with what works since my skin is so picky.

Sleep: 6-57, Awake 1-18, REM 1-47, light 3-40, deep 1-30. Not too bad, but woke up feeling yuck, so did not go to breakfast with friends or get to say good bye, as I fell back to sleep.

Today other than paying bills, I have a ton of stuff to do for work and I need to pack for the week retreat that starts tomorrow. Dinner will be leftovers.

Sorry to hear about the procedure but of course best wishes for an easy time and a good result. So good to hear about Philip! He is such a dear, such a fighter! (Like his gam gam Very Happy )

Thanks, TW.

Sleep: restless and not nearly enough. Probably because the school year starts today and I am in no way ready. Long week of full days. Sad

Don't know who did that cake, but that thing is amazing. I hope all stabilizes for you on the medical front.

Sending calm and peace vibes as you start your school year.

Seems funny to have a retreat right at the start of school.

Have a great day

FWIW......I'm not looking forward to the start of the school year and I don't even have to go to school. Wink Sure, my daughter is still in high school but I don't have to go. Sometimes I think it's just a transition into the "same ole, same ole" that the school year represents. Same old traffic is back, same old super busy grocery stores on Sundays, same old thousands of students back in town......and....same old leaves turning colour again with cool mornings and nights.

I hope you have a good week - even though it will be busy and probably draining. Be extra kind to yourself. Maybe schedule a massage and facial for Saturday?

Thank you, NM. It actually makes it easier for me, as I am on the same side of town as school, so do not have to do 5 days of getting up at 4am to be on campus in time for 8am meetings and staying on campus until 7pm to avoid traffic, which puts me home about 930pm.

I especially do not like the first few weeks of getting everything and one settled in.

Meetings were okay, but I could have used the time getting stuff ready for class. Got the news that the potential faculty that we really liked from last week signed her contract. Now I do not have to teach Pedi and OB the entire semester. She will start 4 week in, so I will have to put the course together and teach until she is on board.

Awesome news on Philip and his family.

Very pretty (and undoubtedly tasty) cake.

Fingers crossed that your outpatient procedure will go well. ((HUGS))

Sounds like a good start to the week and the school year, esp knowing your teaching duties will end in a month.

I guess that retreat is good then if it avoids traffic and allows for extra sleep. Smile

To clarify, I will teach OB the entire semester. I will also have 2 online courses the 2nd 1/2 of the semester.

Sleep was restless again and not enough.

Meetings all day again. Stayed about 3 hours working on class stuff. I am still behind, but a bit more organized.

Out patient testing scheduled for Monday and procedure is on the OR calendar for Tuesday.

Sleep: 5-45, awake 1-49, REM 23m, light 4-22, deep 1-0. I was going to get up much earlier, but was just too tired, so reset the alarm and went back to sleep.

Another day of meetings and then trying to get classes ready.

Thanks, NM and Tomi.

Was at the office until 8:30 pm. Stopped and picked up an on plan bowl at Chipotle and some iced tea. Did some more work after eating and now I am catching up.

Philip Update: he is 36.5 cm long (14.4 inches), 1140 gm (2.51 pounds), is getting 22 ml of EBM every 3 hours by tube (0.7 ounces) and they are going to try and challenge him to breath on his own tomorrow.
