It was fun.  More fun then when I won.  I had a great dress this time and felt like I looked fantastic.

Cruddy sleep again.  Long day at university.  I anticipate going to bed early tonight.

Sleep 6h 55m: 2h 6m Awake, 1h 25m REM, 5h 3m light, 27m deep.  I am tired, did not get enough deep sleep.

Dogs go to the groomer this morning.  Dad is helping me reset the automatic sprinkler when I get back from dropping them off.  Quick clean up and then out to lunch with mom.  I need to regrade the exams, do laundry, pay some bills, clean out my briefcase, and then start packing for the writing week.  Tomorrow afternoon I meet up with the rest of the self-study team and we will spend parts of each day next week finishing up the writing.

Wow busy day ahead. So you’ll be out of town again? What an interesting life you lead.

Thanks, NM.  Not out of town, but lodged in a hotel on the other side of Houston (about an hour from where I live).  We have found in the past that the only way to get stuff done, is to sequester ourselves and knock it out.

Dogs have been to the groomer and are now home.  With all the rain, I am not sure how long they will stay clean. Rolling Eyes  Dad and I got the sprinkler system up and running in about 10 minutes-I just needed a third arm!  Lunch with mom went well, we briefly planned Thanksgiving which will be just the 4 of us this year.  I got the last load in the dryer before lunch and put everything up when I got home.  Bills paid.  Now I need to get grading.

Clapping on restraining yourself! We are all our worst critics.

Love the dress and I think you look wonderful in it! I like the bodice mucho!

Thank you, PPam.  One of the positives from the mastectomy was I do not have to wear a bra, so don't have to worry about straps showing. Very Happy

Sleep: 7h 5m - Awake 2h 14m, Light 5h 5m, Deep 60m, REM 60m.  Better, but still need more deep.

Today I need to pack and then get to the sequester hotel.  I have grading to fit in also.  Hoping for a productive week.

Got to the hotel around 1.  Unpacked, went foraging in the lounge for water and tomato juice. Had extra coffee, cups, and a microwave delivered to the room.  Once I got settled, I graded the two exams and posted grades.  Did some other grading and sent out a list of days/times I am available for the faculty meeting the research students are required to have.  By then it was time to see what the lounge had to eat.  Tomato basil soup was for dinner.  After dinner I worked on the CEUs I need to finish in the next two weeks to recertify my high-risk neonatal certification.  Tomorrow is self-study parts 2-4 completion.

Sleep: 5h 27m- Awake 1h 18m; REM 29m; Light 4h 2m; Deep 56m.  Decent for hotel sleep, but I am tired this morning and not firing on all cylinders yet.

Today I am writing on the self-study with the team.  I also need to work on new faculty hire paperwork and do some more grading.

Love the dress. It looks good on you! Everybody likes to get dressed up nicely once in a while. I'm glad you felt pretty in the dress.
