Sleep was not great: 4 3/4 hours, awake 69 minutes, REM 37 minutes, light 3 1/2 hours, and 29 minutes Deep.  Up, showered, hair dry catching up and having coffee before I finish getting ready and hit the road.

My main task today is to finish putting everything into my portfolio and get it turned in.  I need to write up the evaluation for the faculty I observed Wednesday.  I hope to fill out the Plan of Progressions (POPs) for the 4 MSN students who transferred in courses and are off the usual plan.  I am scheduled for an hour of training on a new computer program.  Then free time to visit with faculty and what not.

DH is working late again, so I will work on two assignments I have to complete in a faculty class the university is requiring for those of us who teach online.  It is kind of a PIA and odd since I've been teaching online 3x longer than the faculty teaching the course.

Keto Philly Cheesesteak casserole for dinner.

I got everything done other than the POPs.  I could not find the form I developed.  Sad

I turned in my 3-inch binder full of my portfolio this afternoon.  The last letter I got was from the Provost's administrative assistant who said I was in the top 10% of the faculty she has worked with over her 37 years with the university!

DH is still at work, so it is me and the pups at home.  I am glad it is the weekend and that I got everything done for September!  The class schedule is still showing as wrong, but they can see everything I put in, so I am in the clear.

I cannot believe I am on Journal Part 3!

Great sleep last night: a bit over 7 hours with 51 minutes awake, 1 hour 38 minutes REM, 4 1/2 hours Light, and 64 minutes Deep.  Woke up to a rainy dreary day.  T-storms predicted all day.

In a bit, I will take the schnauzers to get groomed.  They will probably get shaved down because with the rain and busy days they are a bit matted on their legs.  Then I will get ready for lunch with mom.

Schnauzer pick up hopefully after lunch then I have to work on FNP 3, which I put off due to the portfolio and other pressing issues.  The university is updating the system this weekend and all applications are supposed to be down.  I just checked because I am still getting email.

Dinner will be meatballs and sauce.

Their bodies are shaved down, but they have their schnauzer beards still.  Lunch was good (butternut squash soup and a scoop of chicken salad).

I did have a nice nap.  Was a bit groggy when I woke up.  Fortunately, our winters are not cold, so they will not miss their hairy legs and skirt too much.  It is certainly easier to keep them clean in the rainy weather.

I had 2 meatballs with sauce and some Parmesan cheese since DH is still at work and will not be home until late, I did not make caulirice as I did not really need it.

I created a couple of forms for the MSN that I will use to document transfer credits and what the progression will be since the student will be off the normal course flow.

I did a bit of online shopping while catching up on recorded shows.  Of the new ones out there, New Amsterdam is the one I will keep watching.  Hope it continues to be good.

Sleep a tad over 6 hours with 69 minutes awake (brief bursts and then longer when I did not jump out of bed right away), 73 minutes REM, 4 1/4 hours light, and 38 minutes Deep.  I do not feel refreshed, but am not foggy brained.

DH's flight leaves at 1:30, so I figure he will leave around noon.  The DA has said he will be done by Wednesday, but they have not booked his return flight yet.

While DH is gone, I plan on getting back on the plan and eating clean (goodbye cracker jacks).  Tomorrow I am starting an exercise plan I found.  It has 4 weeks of preparation for the 12-week program for couch potatoes like me.  I have started and will continue to use a TENs like unit on my abdomen.  It causes a deep contraction of the muscles that lay under all the scar tissue and was recommended by my surgeon.

Today I have to get FNP 3 done because I have a meeting with the FNP faculty to go over FNP 2 which she did and FNP 3 which I am doing.  There are times that I am really bad about waiting until the last minute! Wink

While DH is gone, I plan on getting the majority of the assignments done for the online faculty class.  I have also got some odds and ends I need to get completed for the MSN program in preparation for the accreditation visit in January.

The next 3 weeks at the university I have classroom observations, completing my part of the evaluation, and meeting with the faculty to discuss their evaluation and get signatures. In between those, I have students scheduled for advising and multiple meetings.  It is a busy 3 weeks leading up to our 9 day trip to EP for Lily's birthday and assorted other things.

Thanks, NM.  I got most of my list done today.  I am not going into the university tomorrow as I can do what needs to be done from home.  DH got to EP safe and sound.

Glad you can work from home.  IMHO it means you are more productive when you can control the interruptions.  Have a nice day too.  Smile

Almost 7 hours last night with 79 minutes awake, 2 hours REM, 4 hours light, and 72 minutes Deep sleep.  Woke feeling good to go.

I've gotten one assignment done and turned in, answered emails, fixed a contract, fed the dogs, and given heartworm pills.  I think it is almost time to exercise!

T-storms here.
