Agree with Pedi and M2M. In this weeks psychologist session, I was expressing how I’m feeling like I’m a slug amd not doing anything. Further discussion had her pointing out the things I did accomplish, and that given current situation, its unfair to compare todays performance to what I was doing before the physical and mental impact on me. Hadn’t thought about it that way. You need to give yourself a break, mentally, as do I.

Everything you've done is a positive step for you and your family, even, the personal time alone, because you come back refreshed.

It's nice to have projects to look forward to.  Soon you'll be creating something sweet with that new yarn!!

Thank you everyone. Technically I was referring to each task not quite getting it’s just do. Not perfect, but enough attention paid that something doesn’t slip through the cracks. Hope that makes sense.

On a brighter note, eating was much improved today.

Breakfast was a rocket fuel latte
Lunch a kale salad with salmon and guacamole
Dinner a burger, slaw and sweet pot oven fries

Made a fresh batch of mayo so I could make the slaw.

Also had a good TRX WO with DS. I’ll be sore tomorrow I think Smile

And the sun was shining brightly all day which felt heavenly even though I was out in it as much as I would have liked.

+1 on what the ladies said.
Wonderful to see a day come together for you.
I'm the same with projects - I have to be mindful to get them completed. This is also important towards our self-esteem because otherwise we dont get the opportunity to reflect on our accomplishments.
Its an important phase that we deny ourselves. Usually pointed out to over accomplishers who do do do all the time and dont recognise their achievements, but applies equally to those of us who feel guilty about unfinished, or rushed, projects.
I try and see starting something new with anticipation and as a reward for finishing whatever I am doing now. Have fun

Kathi, Rocket fuel Latte from Leanne Vogal’s Keto Book

Coffee, MCT or CO, cacao butter, hulled hemp seeds, stevia Opt, pinch salt, collagen peptides/gelatin/protein powder. Everything is 1T except stevia Is just a couple drops, if using. Whirr in a high speed blender or use a blender stick. Actually pretty good of you can get the hemp seeds pulverized enough. You can replace those with chia seeds, but haven’t tried that.

Last nights sleep was better, the nights before was awful. Feeling decent today

AT these things which I am referring to are work things and DH things, so not optional projects. Now I have a bunch of those but don’t stress them. Their filleres if I get some downtime or have a chance to relax.

Today I need to get a bit of work stuff done in prep for the week. Makes things easier with DH

It’s been a great 2 days food wise. Today ended up being W30 with out trying. And of course good food means feeling good emotionally too.

Having just spent a week feeding my MIL good food, it was astounding to see what a difference good nutrition makes as far as how one feels - alertness, energy, mental clarity. I'm glad to read you are feeling more on track.

Yes, it’s either a bad spiral or a good one. I choose good. However, sometimes the bad sneaks up on us and we need to break free and right the ship.

Another compliant w30 day

About 3/4 thru with Body Beliefs now. I’ve found a few things to sink my teeth into. And I will be doing the mindfulness like Pedi as well.

Hope everyone has had a great day

I have found the Mindfullness surprisingly easy. I started with 10 days of 3 minutes a day and now am at 5 minutes. I do it before I get out of bed and get going every morning.

Absolutely! The more great food day outcomes the easier it is to keep going. Nothing tastes as good as feeling awesome.
Great going on the W30!

Thanks everyone. Just kinda fell into the W30. Was planning to start tomorrow, but no time like the present Smile

Kathi I’m trying to do my mindfullness then too. If DH doesn’t know I’m up I can get it done with interruption.

DS was here today and I got my TRX WO. so lift heavy things is done, I will be walking laps in my home once I finish up here. Food was again spot on.

Tomorrow I will have a nurse, so I am going vac shopping. Will hit a few stores all located close together and then decide what to do.

I did finish Body Beliefs last night during my laps. It is very definitely written to a specific audience, but some gems are contained within.

Oh and some things with work are starting to come together, hopefully that stress will be reduced soon.

Have a great night all

I did find a new vac. Tested it out when I got home and seems to work well. I will reserve complete judgment until DMIL gives it a go and it’s used a but more. Did seem to pick up a lot of dust with the dirt.

Been a pretty good day overall. Eating is spot on once again, although cravings are there. Need to get through the next few days.

Still need some steps for to ignite, but not near as many due to shopping and vacuuming.

Slept better last night which was huge too.

I am curious about the brand that was purchased. My vacuum is probably fine but is way too unwieldy for me these days. Too heavy and awkward for the stairs.

Pam it’s a Shark Rocket Duo Clean Flex. It’s a stick, so you can take off the carpet head, a leaver you can press with your food, and slide the wand out. You can use that with attachments, or then take the wand out and it’s dust busterish. Then with attachments do the stairs quite easily.

Today was a really good day. Food was good, got work done along with errands (DS here today) then got a LHT WO In, plus over 13000 steps.

Feeling more into the swing of things with the tax stuff just about done, need to finish my personal stuff. Work sales and cash flow have picked up and eating is on track. Now to keep it all this way.

Goal for tomorrow, get a head start on payroll for Monday, work on my puzzle. Make Nom Noms egg sausage casserole.

Thank you for the info NM. I have been thinking Shark for a long time. I should go and look. The vacuum I have works fine and was expensive. Hard to buy something new because of that. But it is old and I deserve ease for vacuuming.

Glad you were happy with your day, getting taxes organized, prepared for payroll and still had time for yourself.
