How is the drainage going?  hopefully all done!

Paperwork still not ready (seriously?) Mad Spent 3 hours with her going over what she chose to share. I took extensive notes.

Only 75 cc of drainage! Very Happy So about 40% less than before. I will go back next Wednesday for another tap, but no drain at this point. Surprised

Well, that is frustrating! -- the work part, not the drainage part Smile

I got that and yes it is frustrating. Although I had a couple of faculty come by my office and say they had heard and were happy.

Ah, the layers of bureaucracy! I got hit with 3 new stupid things today, and our contracts have yet to come out - might have something to do with the new head of HR resigning before she ever showed up to work, but more likely because our university prez pokes her fingers into every damn thing.

(Sorry, end of a somewhat frustrating day and my back hurts so I am grumpy.)

Glad that there was much less drainage. Hope that is over with soon!

Anticipation, stress, excitement, etc. All bundled in your new appointment. Hope it flushes out soon.

I suspect the woman leaving is probably not doing full-disclosure of things she was working on in hopes of tripping you up. She sounds like something like that.

No worries you will find your own strategy and all will be well.

Glad the folks stopped by to relay their best wishes.

Boo Hoo that you still need drainage but at least it is less.

Have a great day at home and on campus. You are the best!

In our case, it is the prez AA that pokes her nose in everything. When I went Tuesday I had to assure her that my boss had discussed everything with me and I was okay with it. The prez gave me everything, why is she questioning it (other than she is good friends with the outgoing person).

Thanks, NM!! I am off to campus today and will start the day with a strategic planning meeting regarding program development. I will feel better once I get everything organized.

Fantastic sleep last night. I heard DH's shower but did not really wake up. Slept about 9 hours. Plenty of time to catch up with my coffee this morning.

Third day in a row at the university. One big meeting to start the day on program development planning. Maybe I will get my paperwork. The rest of the day I am organizing myself.

Sounds like you're on the mend. Smile Good sleep is very important, I'm glad yours is so restful lately.

Those last few weeks will fly by, knowing you're gonna take over then.

Kathi so sorry work is being pain. However, in the end it will all be worth it. And as Pam says, watch for trip ups.

Great news on the drainage. Hopefully next visit will mean the end of that and it will become a distant memory.

Looks like everything that was posted before April 14 is gone...

not gone... just split and locked: http://primalforums.forumotion.com/t73-moving-forward-toward-better-health#638 Smile

It wasn't me... as I would have left a message about it... but at least everything's still there. Wink

Weird - do you know why? or can you find out why? Was I over a "limit"?

Great sleep once I went to sleep last night. I probably only got about 6 hours though, so I am sure I will fade this afternoon. Doing laundry, so no compression garment - seroma seems very small - hoping it stays that way.

I am working from home today. I need to finish getting another MSN class put together and sent to production, so I can bill for this month. Youngest son's wedding is <30 days away and I need the $ for the rehearsal dinner. I also need to balance the checkbook and pay bills - the never-ending chore! I also hope to go through the stack of things I was given during my "training" for the new position and make sense of them.

Leftovers for dinner.

So much on your plate right now.

I think a review of the info will be helpful. Good thing you took notes.

Take care.

I googled it Smile ... and apparently it's a 'forumotion thing'... once a topic reaches 1100 posts, it gets split at 990 posts and locked... automatically.

So is it a possibility if paying attention to number of posts, we can just start a volume 2 or whatever before that happens??

Seems like a great solution, GS. I guess I am glad it happened to me, so everyone knows the work around.

Is there a way to know how many posts you have in your journal? I don't see a count like MDA had. I almost miss the feature where you just jump right to the last post you read in any journal. Those are good cookies! Smile
