Shocked "but it's not good when your gut is in a healing phase. Sorry. " Cool  Quoted from MDA to put emphasis on temporary. Hopefully.

Welcome to journaling once again Dawn. So nice to have you here. Hope your issues with drinking coffee have resolved. Truly. Smile

LOL - I doesn't feel like it upsets my stomach. But then I haven't got much of an issue with my stomach usually - I used to have a lot, but it's been a while. My biggest issues are my eczema and seasonal allergies - and then the weight which is so incredibly stubborn.

The bulletproof coffee breaks my IF, and I want to try to make my window smaller... if I can only loose weight fasting, but longer fasts are out of the question, then I need to make my windows smaller. One meal a day plys bulletproof coffee keeps me weight stable, but I still have a way to go before I want to be stable Smile I have given it up before and I can do it again... I just don't really want to.

Isn't it difficult. I don't think I have a problem with dairy but I wouldn't want to give up cream, butter or cheese! I don't have milk unless it's fermented (Kefir)

It is...

It is 11 o'clock, I have been hungry all morning (what always happens when I've had sugar), the kids have been bickering since they got up - not something they usually do... so here I am, with my coffee after 2 eggs sunny side up, one avocado and a little bacon. Soooo needed it

Dawn sometimes we can't feel gut issues in the gut. Don't get me wrong, I love my coffee, but if I was having issues that allowing my gut to heal would help, I would wean. My DGF doesn't like coffee, so she does BF tea. Maybe give that a try to replace the coffee for a bit? Just a thought.

I Know I Know I Know... Smile Should a could a would a but I haven't bc. I like it so much (and it isn't the caffeine, bc. I can do decaf just fine). When I get to the organic store next time I'll buy some chicory coffee and go with that for a while.

Chicory coffee sounds interesting. Does it taste like ordinary coffee?

It's close enough that I don't miss coffee terribly. I wouldn't say 8t tastes like coffee, but it has that bitter taste that signals coffee to my brain.
